True Blood

Anyone watching True Blood? Interesting developments. I like that the plots are just a little different from the books to keep you guessing a little. Still fun to watch. Bill's new Vamp girl is funny. The actor playing Pam is spot-on with her, so is Lafayette.

Working in nonfiction right now, not my fave thing since fiction is more fun but nonfiction pays better, and sometimes you have to do what you have to do while you wait...and wait...and wait...to hear from that editor, agent etc.

So, what do you do to keep yourself busy while you wait for that important call, write more, exercise, work in the garden, all of the above?

I LOVE true blood. Lafiette is fabulous as is the haoe shifter. i rather like him lol I send in so many subs, once they've left my laptop they seem to go out of my mind untill they get rejected or accepted. I've just started reviewing once a month, just another spring to my proverbial bow.

Well Carol, while I'm waiting to hear about an acceptance, I blog hop and try to comment on posts. I write, I read and watch a little TV.
I haven't watched True Blood, I dont have the pay channels.
And of course there is something I'm always behind on and should be doing.

Working full time helps me in a way because I can't haunt sites or the telephone like I might otherwise. Writing is one of the best distractions, takes my mind off the book that's out there.

Great post, Carol. I've never watched True Blood, but I don't watch much TV. Writing pretty well occupies most of my time. If I finish something, I send it off, and keep working. Waiting for a reply seems senseless. It'll either happen or it won't, and if it doesn't, I try to learn why, fix any problems I can find, and send it out again. Then get back to work. :)
