Christmas and Fashion

First, the Tali Cates contest is over. The winners will be announced this weekend.

Now, for a most important discussion.

What Christmas item is it that:

Anyone under 30 laughs at.
Most women over 40 love to wear.
Teachers have one for every day.
And fashion gurus hate?

Yes. You are right. It's time for the dreaded Christmas sweater.
I have several, dragged them out yesterday. Wore one. Will wear one every day because I only have a month. Then, back in storage they go until next year.

Come on, confess, you secretly like them too. You have one. What is it like? Is it a vest, or cardigan you can ditch in a hurry or an all out pull-over. Tell all in the comment section. Its true confession time.

Christmas sweater wearers unite!

I don't mind them as long as there not too out there -- flashing lights and playing music :D

But I can honesty say I have no sweaters for the season...I do however have a Saints Christmas hat with the puffy ball at the top and all and I will wear it with pride.

I don't wear ones that flash and glimmer, but I do like to wear shirts and sweaters decorated for Christmas.

Problem is, mine are worn out.

Honestly,
I don't own a sweater of any kind, let alone a holiday one...I've always thought they were pretty, but just never bought one...I love decorating the house for the holidays, but my clothes....not so much....lol....Happy Holidays to All....Tabs

Don't have a Christmas sweater, but my husband wears green socks with little red chritmas trees on Christmas Day...will this do?

I have a Christmas Sweatshirt and a Christmas long sleeved tee shirt. Do they count. Oh, and tons of Christmas socks. It's fun to wear all that color, whimsy and cheer!

Those cardigans are just so thick and cozy to snuggle up with, along with a favorite book and hot cocoa!

Must confess. Love the Christmas cardigans. But not glittery and fashionable, of course. ;)

Trent, Hats work, anything for the holiday.
Vivian-I don't have any that flash but I do have fun with them.
Tabs-you're allowed to decorate yourself too-it would look good on you.
Maggie and Sara, love Christmas socks but they don't always work when my ankles puff.
J. Rose, snuggle with a book, there we go, my kind of thing, loving the new Stephen King dome book.
Rinda, I know you could do glitter!

Me-me-me!!! (raising hand) I have three. One is a huge sweater with a Christmas tree on the front and tiny (real)metal ornaments sewn all over it. The other two are sweater vests--one of kittens playing with Christmas lights (a big no-no in reality), and the other of dogs in holiday hats/vests themselves. Guess I better start wearing 'em.

Absolutely that time of year Amy, must wear them now before they are dragged away, kicking and screaming, locked up for another year.
