Poetry Monday

Goddess Dreams

Worship summer sun
Blow bitter storms away
Manipulate a thousand
Purple spring leaves.
Elaorate petal garden
Delerious symphony
Whisper under your
Delicate power
Shadow forest mother
Sea spray goddess
Winter moon music
Recalling eternity.

It started with refrigerator poetry and grew from there.

I LOVE refrigerator poetry! The worst part of having kids is that I can't create erotic refrigerator poetry anymore. :(

This is cool, Carol. It comes across as being really good Fridge Poetry, but with a twist of being better. If that makes any sense... Trust me. In my mind, it does!

'Blow bitter storms away'
love this line. 'blow' connotes a storm. so does it take one storm to blow away another?

every line is evocative, whistful...

'delicate power' indeed

what's refigerator poetry? um, is that a dumb question?

My own comment disappeared. Susan, I'm so glad yo like it. Rhian, sorry I messed up the link but glad you like it. Robin, its always fun to be taken away. Joy, refrigerator poetry is when you have the little magnetic words you can arrange into sentences. They stick to flat surfaces like the front of the refrigerator or file cabinet. Anyone can walk by and make the words into poetry.
